Interest in Lean Six Sigma has been growing steadily over the past few years. But what is Lean Six Sigma?
This course introduces the fundamental concepts of the Lean Six Sigma philosophy and process and enables you to understand and use the concepts, principles and tools of Lean Six Sigma and the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Innovate, Control) methodology.

It will help you successfully participate in your organization's Operational Excellence program. You will first see how a lack of quality can affect your organization. The Lean Six Sigma – Yellow Belt training provides a clear and simple framework for achieving customer satisfaction, reducing expenses, improving performance and increasing quality within your organization.

This course prepares you for the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification exam from the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Course duration

3 days, 7 hours per day (08:30–17:00), for a total of 22.5 hours:

  • 20 hours of training
  • 1.5 hours for the exam
  • 1 hour for in-class review of the exam

The training consists of 9 modules. The training manual used during the course is based on the Body of Knowledge of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
