This intensive two and a half day course prepares experienced ITIL® practitioners for the ITIL® Managing Professional Version 5 designation. It bridges prior ITIL® v3 / ITIL® 4 knowledge with the ITIL® Version 5 framework, focusing on the strategic and operational capabilities required for the Managing Professional Transition exams.

Important scheduling information:
This course is delivered over two weeks. The first session is a half-day session on the scheduled course date. The remaining two training days take place approximately seven days later.

Duration

2.5 days of live instructor-led learning, plus self-study between sessions.

Prerequisite

A minimum of 17 ITIL® v3 credits, including the Expert stream, or an ITIL® 4 Managing Professional designation is required. Participants must hold an active ITIL® certification to qualify.

Course structure

This course includes interactive readings and instructor-led explanations, practice activities resembling exam-style questions, collaborative exercises and case studies, and guided review for examination preparation.

  • Apply ITIL® Version 5 practices across the four dimensions of service management

  • How to implement ITIL®
  • Exam preparation for Managing Professional Transition Exam 2

Exam information

Exam included: Yes. The official PeopleCert ITIL® Managing Professional Transition Version 5 exams are included.

Participants receive a voucher valid for 12 months and schedule their exams after the training.

There are two closed-book exams. Each exam consists of 40 multiple-choice scenario-based questions and lasts 90 minutes. Extra time may be available for non-native language candidates.
